A multipurpose alkyd primer that can also be used both as primer, primer surfacer, adhesion primer and intermediate coating. Finish: full-matt.

FUTURA 3 is intended for priming of surfaces indoors and outdoors, such as furniture, chipboard, fibre board and gypsum board. Also for priming of metal surfaces indoors (also light metal and galvanized surfaces) as well as glass, ceramic tiles, PVC plastic and acid-curing paints indoors. Can also be used for painting ceilings.

Surface preparation

Clean new surfaces from dust and dirt. Wash previously painted surfaces with RENSA SUPER paint cleaner. Wire-brush the rusty metal parts. Remove loose and poorly adherent paint coats. Remove all possible latex paints. Matt down hard or gloss surfaces by sanding and thereafter remove the dust.

Application

Stir thoroughly before use.

Application conditions

The surface to be treated must be dry. During the application and drying period the temperature of the ambient air, the surface and the product shall be above +5°C and the relative air humidity below 80%.

Practical spreading rate Applied once onto a smooth surface: 8 - 10 m²/l. When painting untreated chipboard the spreading rate must be 5 - 6 m²/l.

Safety markings See safety data sheet. NOTE! Because of the danger of spontaneous combustion, any waste from the product, spray mist and soiled rags etc. are to be kept in a fire-proof place in air-tight containers. Immersion in water is also recommended.
