WOODEX WOOD OIL

Solvent-borne wood oil for outdoor use.
Natural oil for outdoor use for protection of garden deck floors and wooden garden furniture. Other suitable objects are fences, trellises, doors and stairs. For heat-treated and press-impregnated wood and for exotic wood sorts. Applied on clean, dry wooden surface by brush, sponge or by dipping. Protects wooden surfaces from moisture, soiling and when tinted from UV radiation of the sun. Deminishes cracking of the wooden surface. For the best durability the treatment with WOODEX WOOD OIL is renewed annually. Not suitable for greenhouses, hotbeds or shelters for livestock.
Surface preparation
Clean the surface to be treated. Use RENSA TERRACE deck cleaner on surfaces to be treated, when needed. Rinse the surfaces thoroughly with water and allow to dry. Remove from the surface all loose and poorly adherent old matter and fluffy top layers of the wood. We recommend that untreated wood is primed with wood preservative from WOODEX-series. Remove old paint or varnish layers before the treatment.
Application
Before use stir the product thoroughly down to the bottom of the can. The product must be frequently stirred thoroughly down to the bottom of the can also during the application. Applied on the surface 1 - 2 times by brush, sponge or by dipping. Depending on the quality of the wood, the treatment is renewed. The possible excess oil is wiped off.
Application conditions
The surface to be treated must be dry. The relative moisture of the wood must be below 20 % of the weight of the wood. During the application and drying period the temperature of the ambient air, the surface and the product shall be above +5 °C and the relative air humidity below 80 %.
