Semi-matt furniture paint

Urethane alkyd paint that is thixotropic and therefore easy to apply. Finish: semi-matt.

For top coating of wooden and primed metal surfaces on detached furniture both indoors and outdoors. Avoid using dark colours outdoors.

Surface preparation

Clean new surfaces from dust and dirt. Wash previously painted surfaces with RENSA SUPER paint cleaner. Remove loose and poorly adherent paint coats. Wire-brush the rusty metal parts. Matt down hard or gloss surfaces by sanding and thereafter remove the dust. Smooth any irregularities in the surface with SILORA A carpentry filler. The dried filler is sanded down and the dust removed.

Application

The paint is thixotropic and must be stirred thoroughly before use. When a second coat is required, it can be applied on the following day.

Application conditions

The surface to be treated must be dry. During the application and drying period the temperature of the ambient air, the surface and the product shall be above +5°C and the relative air humidity below 80%.

Safety markings See safety data sheet. NOTE! Because of the danger of spontaneous combustion, any waste from the product, spray mist and soiled rags etc. are to be kept in a fire-proof place in air-tight containers. Immersion in water is also recommended.
