AQUATOP 2600-66, a water-borne, industrial topcoat for wood designated for exterior use such as windows and doors made of light-coloured softwood. Should not be used on dark wood.
AQUATOP 2600-66 contains extra UV absorbers to maximize the coatings exterior durability. Softwood may yellow/turn darker. Before use, the manufacturer or technical service department should be consulted to confirm the product’s suitability for the specific substrate, coating system, and exposure conditions.

Surface preparation
The wood must be free from wood dust and contamination. The moisture content of the wood should be approx. 13% and should not exceed 15%. Pretreatment is required for wood substrates not meeting Durability Class 3, EN 350:2016.
Teknos has a range of preservative products meeting the requirements of EN 599-1, please contact Teknos for further guidance. The parts must be treated with an intermediate flow coat treatment to secure the surface to be fully closed before topcoat application.
Application conditions
Stir thoroughly before use.
Optimum temperature for products and surroundings: +15°C - +30°C. Optimum relative humidity of the air is 50-70%.

Storage
The product must be stored at temperatures +5°C - +30°C. Shelf life in unopened containers: See “Best before date” on the label. Keep containers tightly closed after use.
