Paints and coating Solutions for hygiene management

Microbes are vital for people and a healthy environment is not sterile. Unfortunately, however, some microbes are harmful to humans and cause illnesses. Bacterial antibiotic resistance is one of the most serious problems in health care today. Therefore, urgent action is needed to combat healthcare-associated infections and antibiotic-resistant microbes.

We offer a wide range of coating solutions for hygiene management of public spaces, such us hospitals, schools, offices and meeting rooms. Our hygiene management products are available in an almost infinite variety of colors, so public spaces can be designed as colorful, inspirational, and hygienic.

The active antimicrobial component in Teknos products is silver phosphate glass based on BioCote® technology. BioCote technology makes the paint surface hygienic and is proven to protect against many types of microbes, such as bacteria and molds.

More information about the BioCote technology, our products for hygiene managament, and our co-operation with HygTech Alliance can be found in the articles below.

We will be happy to help you choose the right paint and coating for your application. Please do not hesitate to contact us!
