Wood, concrete, plaster and building boards are the most commonly used surface materials for the interior walls and ceilings. As the wall surfaces are under a mechanical stress, it is important to choose a sufficiently durable paint according to the intended use of the space.
Ceiling paints usually do not have to withstand very high mechanical stress. The most commonly used paint gloss for ceilings is full-matt. A full-matt ceiling doesn´t reflect light creating a calmer atmosphere. If the ceiling needs to be cleaned it is better to choose a matt or a semi-matt finish.

WOODEN CEILING AND WALL PANELS
Wood is a timeless and a classic choise for interior walls and ceilings. The wood pattern can be left totally visible or tint it to the desired colour. Wooden surfaces require flexibility and good water vapor permeability from surface treatment and Teknos is able to meet these requirements.

HELO® SOLANA WAX
Waterborne, breathable interior wax with a strong UV protection for interior wooden surfaces such as log, panel walls, panel ceilings, mouldings and interior doors. It includes natural carnauba wax giving an elegant matt finish. Used as clear preserves the natural colour of fresh wood, but it can also be tinted to a colour from the translucent colours range.
