High-performance solutions

Teknos is strengthening its product range of industrial wood coatings for indoor use with the development of high-performance solutions. Six new products are now available for mouldings, internal doors and panels:

TEKNOCOAT AQUA PRIMER 1867-50

Water borne 1K special primer for sealing pinewood knots. Minimises discolouration from knots in the case of white or light coloured topcoats. Highly-effective product.

TEKNOCOAT AQUA PRIMER 1868-00

Water borne 1K special primer for protection against discoloration from hardwoods. For white and light coulored coatings of woods containing tannins such as oak, merbau, red cedar etc. Excellent sanding and drying properties, short process times.

TEKNOSTAIN AQUA 1996

Water borne stain for giving colour and accentuation appearance to the wood. Available ex works in numerous colours for spray processes (TEKNOSTAIN AQUA 1996-00) or roller application (1996-20).

TEKNOCLEAR AQUA 1338

Water borne clear topcoat with excellent transparency and fast initial hardness. Gloss grade 10-60 still fully transparent with three coats. Outstanding flow properties even with a low application of 70 g/m².

TEKNOCOAT AQUA 2577

Water borne pigmented topcoat with excellent drying and anti burnishing effect. Good blocking properties and stackability.

TEKNOCOAT AQUA 2585

Water borne pigmented topcoat with particularly high chemical resistance. Special solution for applications in which the focus is more on chemical resistance than short process times. Highly resistant against ethanol, coffee etc.
