Intensive training for Teknos partner Hendrichs
Hendrichs AG in Eupen has been Teknos’ sales partner for over ten years. The specialist wholesaler supplies wood working handicraft and industrial companies and provides its customers with comprehensive professional support. The company also runs a cutting-edge training centre with spray booths and overhead conveyors.
In order to develop its activities in the expanding market for fire protection in Belgium and to be able to advise customers better, Hendrichs organised a one-day intensive training course for employees in mid-September. The topics include: basic knowledge on fire protection, legislation, standards and regulations as well as the corresponding Teknos solutions including costing and sales. The keynote speaker was Mark Norris, Sales Director at Teknos Germany. Mark Norris has over ten years of experience with fire-retardant coatings and is responsible for the expansion of this segment at Teknos Germany.
Mark Norris demonstrated the effectiveness of fire-retardant Teknos coatings by practical example. A small wooden house was coated on one half with a normal coating system (AQUAPRIMER 3130-00 and NORDICA EKO 3330-03), and on the other half with the intumescent coating TEKNOSAFE 2407-00. The effect of the special coating, already widely used, is impressively shown in the video documentation of the experiment.
