NATURGRUND 4538-00 is a water-borne, highly elastic parquet primer that does not accentuate the grain. For perfect floor sealing on a completely aqueous basis. The product is mainly designed for use on light woods, also suitable for natural oak. NATURGRUND 4538-00 reduces the tendency for side edge bonding and therefore lowers the risk of the formation of wide joint cracks (block cracks).

Surface preparation
Every substrate must be well-cleaned, dry and free from grease and oil. Coating removal: Sand
Application
Stir or shake the product well for several minutes before use, if necessary by machine.
Application conditions
Recommended temperature for surroundings and product: +15°C-25°C. Do not apply below +10°C. Ideal surface and object temperature for application: +18°C-22°C. Avoid application in direct sunlight. Underfloor heating systems must be adjusted well in advance.
Storage
Storage temperature is +5°C - +30°C. Store in a tightly closed container.
For renovation, fumed oak and exotic wood species we recommend using PARKETT RENO GRUND NORDIC 3338 instead of NATURGRUND 4538 for more effective isolation of the substrate. When using NATURGRUND 4538 as a primer, always use a separate roller.
NATURGRUND 4538 and parquet sealing coatings are not compatible with one another in a liquid state. Coagulates occur during mixing.
