Solvent-based, high-quality preservative oil for wood substrates for interior use

MATTÖL 1410 & MATTÖL BUNT 1409 are low-viscosity, matt preservative oils based on natural raw materials. The products have a good mechanical strength. Parquet floors: For treating the surfaces of wooden floors, stairs and cork floors. Carpenter application: For surface treatment of wooden doors, tables, chairs and stairs.

Surface preparation

Every substrate must be well-cleaned, dry and free from grease and oil. Coating removal: Sand

Application

Stir or shake the product well for several minutes before use, if necessary by machine.

Application conditions

Recommended temperature for surroundings and product: +15°C-25°C. Do not apply below +10°C. Ideal surface and object temperature for application: +18°C-22°C. Avoid application in direct sunlight. Underfloor heating systems must be adjusted well in advance.

Maintenance

Parquet floors: Maintenance: After at least 3 weeks curing time with RENSA WOOD OIL POLISH 4584-00. Re-impregnate with RENSA WOOD CARE OIL 1413. Carpenter application: Maintenance: After a minimum period of 3 weeks by wiping surfaces with a damp cloth (not wet). As required, e.g. weekly, add approx. 1% RENSA WOOD OIL POLISH 4584-00 to the cleaning water (2 caps to 1l of water). Cleans and nourishes the oiled surface. Storage

Storage temperature is +5°C - +30°C.

Hazard warning: Pads and cloths soaked in oil can spontaneously combust under certain conditions and should therefore be kept in a metal bin with a lid until they are disposed of correctly.

Hardener 10% UNIPUR 279/1910-99 HÄRTER can be added to improve mechanical and chemical resistance. For colour shades (also white and black) the addition of UNIPUR 279/1910-99 HÄRTER is mandatory. This fixes the colouring agents additionally.
