DUPLEX 4553 is a water-soluble, low-tension, abrasion-resistant 1C primer and sealing coating for the low-emission, odourless treatment of wood parquet floors and stripped wooden floor boards in a direct two or three layer process. The coating has a low tendency to stick to the side edges and can therefore be used without a primer. The product is resistant to light and yellowing.

Surface preparation

Every substrate must be well-cleaned, dry and free from grease and oil. Coating removal: Sand

Application

Stir or shake the product well for several minutes before use, if necessary by machine.

Application conditions

Recommended temperature for surroundings and product: +15°C-25°C. Do not apply below +10°C. Ideal surface and object temperature for application: +18°C-22°C. Avoid application in direct sunlight. Underfloor heating systems must be adjusted well in advance.

Maintenance

Storage

Storage temperature is +5°C - +30°C. Store in a tightly closed container.

When renovating or coating exotic wood species, we recommend using PARKETT RENO GRUND 3300. AUCH ROTHÖLZERN??? Do not use on pear wood without a primer. Risk of film formation faults. When using on dark woods please refer to the instructions in our VTM 5564 "White discolouration” in the areas around the joints of sealed dark wood floors.
