TEKNOL 1888 - BASE T
Transparent primer
A water-borne, fast drying and transparent alkyd/acrylic primer that will bring out the natural surface pattern of wood.
Use: Industrial priming of wooden facade boards and prefabricated units for wooden houses. TEKNOL 1888 - BASE T protects the timber surface until the topcoat is applied, either on-site or in a factory coating facility. The final topcoat should be applied as soon as possible, and no later than the first summer season following priming. Before using the product, the manufacturer should be contacted to check the suitability of the product for the object in question.
Surface preparation
The surface must be clean and dry. The moisture content of the wood is to be below 20%.
Application
Stir thoroughly before use.
The primer can be applied 1 or 2 times, approx. 100 g/m² /layer.
Application conditions
During the application and drying period the temperature of the ambient air, the surface and the product shall be above +15°C and the relative air humidity below 80%.
Storage
Must not freeze. The storage stability is shown on the label. Store in a tightly closed container. The best storage temperature is +10°C - +25°C.
