TEKNOFLOOR OPAL 1432-40 is a water-borne, highly abrasion-resistant 2C-PU floor sealing coating for low-emission treatment of practically all soft and hard wood species. The product is resistant to light and yellowing.
Designed for floors, which are subjected to severe wear stress, for example, sports halls and public premises. Complies with DIN 18032-2 and EN 14904 friction requirements for sports halls. The product is not suitable for the lacquering of diamond pine and chemically treated wood, e.g., smoked oak.

Surface preparation
Every substrate must be well-cleaned, dry and free from grease and oil.
Coating removal: Sand
Application
Stir or shake the product well for several minutes before use, if necessary by machine.
Application conditions
Recommended temperature for surroundings and product: +15°C-25°C. Do not apply below +10°C. Ideal surface and object temperature for application: +18°C-22°C. Avoid application in direct sunlight. Underfloor heating systems must be adjusted well in advance.
Maintenance
Initial and maintenance care: After at least 3 weeks curing time with RENSA FLOOR POLISH 4580.
Storage
Storage temperature is +5°C - +30°C. Store in a tightly closed container.
Application methods
For smoked oak and exotic woods, we recommend the use of our products TEKNOFLOOR KORUND 4500 with RENO GRUND 3300 for better insulation of the substrate (crazing).
For renovations of light-coloured woods, we recommend the use of RENO GRUND 3300 or RENO GRUND NORDIC 3338 for better insulation of the substrate.
Do not use on pear wood without a primer. Risk of film formation faults.
When using on dark woods please refer to the instructions in our VTM 5564 "White discolouration” in the areas around the joints of sealed dark wood floors.
