This product is recommended for industrial coating of wood-based substrates. This basecoat for roller application serves as a base for further coatings with TEKNOS waterborne printing inks and TEKNOS UV topcoats. This product shows excellent adhesion and good block resistance, and is ammonia-free with excellent odour properties.

Surface preparation
The application is normally effected during a direct coating process of wood- based substrates. Please consult our technical staff prior to other applications.
Application
Stir thoroughly before use.
Apply by roller coater, with a shore hardness of preferably 40 - 50 shore (Isobutylen/Isopren-Copolymer or EPDM-Prepolymer).
Intermediate drying after each layer is recommended.
Application conditions
The recommended application temperature is +20 – +35°C.
Storage
Storage and transportation temperature is +25 ± 5°C. Storage stability is 1 year in unopened package. Protect from heat and freeze!
Drying methods
Jet dryer i.e. IR-dryer.
Adjustment of drying parameters according to film weight and line speed is necessary. A preliminary test of the complete build-up is recommended.
