This product is recommended for industrial coating of wood-based substrates. This basecoat for roller application serves as a base for further coatings with TEKNOS waterborne printing inks and TEKNOS UV topcoats. This product shows excellent adhesion, good block resistance, odour properties and hiding power.

Surface preparation
The application is normally effected during a direct coating process of wood- based substrates. Please consult our technical staff prior to other applications.
Application
Stir thoroughly before use.
Apply by roller coater, with a shore hardness of preferably 40 - 50 shore (Isobutylen/Isopren-Copolymer or EPDM-Prepolymer).
Intermediate drying after each layer is recommended.
Application conditions
The recommended application temperature is +20 – +35°C.
Storage
Storage and transportation temperature is +25 ± 5°C. Storage stability is 1 year in unopened package. Protect from heat and freeze!
Drying methods
Jet dryer i.e. IR-dryer.
Adjustment of drying parameters according to film weight and line speed is necessary. A preliminary test of the complete build-up is recommended.
