KORRO DP is a one-component prefabrication primer based on acrylic resin.
The paint is used for temporary corrosion protection of steel constructions e.g. pipelines, heaters. It is quick drying, matt coating. Paint degrades slowly when used at high temperatures.
Surface preparation
Remove from the surfaces any contaminants that might be detrimental to surface preparation and application. Before cleaning of surface, it is recommended to wash it with water with addition of OLICLEAN 123 and then rinse with fresh water. The surfaces are prepared according to the different materials as follows:
STEEL SURFACES: Remove from the surface any contaminants that might be detrimental to application. The surface to be treated must be dry and clean. Thereafter the surface must be prepared by blast cleaning to preparation grade at least Sa 2½.
The place and time of the preparation are to be chosen so that the prepared surface will not get dirty or damp before the subsequent treatment.

Application
Stir thoroughly before use.
Apply by airless spray, brush, roller or conventional spray.
Suitable airless nozzle size 0.010 - 0.012".
Nozzle pressure 10-15 MPa.
For conventional spray application it is recommended to thin the paint 5-7%.
Application conditions
The surface to be treated must be dry. During the application and drying period the temperature of the ambient air, the surface and the paint shall be above 0°C and the relative air humidity below 80%. Additionally, the temperature of the surface to be treated and the product must be at least +3°C above the dew point of the ambient air. Adequate ventilation during application and drying period is recommended.
Storage
The storage stability is shown on the label.
Store in a cool place and in tightly closed containers.
