DRYWOOD KOPSE SEALER / ENDGRAIN SEALER is a water-borne quick drying sealer for end grains in joinery, wooden constructions and plywood. It can be used as a primer for further application of DRYWOOD products.

Drywood Kopse Sealer / Endgrain Sealer 240001-00 can be applied with brush, roller or airless spraying. Drywood Kopse Sealer / Endgrain Sealer 240001-00 can be used to close end grains at both soft- and hardwood wood species, modified wood species and plywood.

DRYWOOD KOPSE SEALER / ENDGRAIN SEALER has excellent sealing properties of end grains and is very easy to apply in high layer thicknesses. The product has high penetration into the wood and dries very quickly. The product has good adhesion, high blocking properties, and has good overcoatability properties. The product has high durability, excellent elasticity, and good UV blocking properties. For more end grain protection (exterior wood constructions), after sanding the first layer, a second layer can be applied. Is tested according to SKH publication 04-01 d.d 2009-03-20.

Surface preparation

The wooden surface must be dry, carefully sanded and cleaned from dust and other impurities.

Application conditions

Stir thoroughly before use. According to SKH publication 07-01 a minimum amount of 600 g/m² end grain of wood or plywood should be applied in one layer or in two layers for each layer 200-300 g/m² (with minimum 475 g/m²) or 300 g/m² DRYWOOD Kopse Sealer / Endgrain Sealer and 150 g/m² DRYWOOD Optiprimer for good efficacy of the product.

Storage stability is 1 year in unopened package. Must not freeze.
