Summer colour inspiration #7: Italy

Number 7 in our Summer colour inspiration series - lovely Italy

Italy, the Mediterranean land known for many things from its historical towns and art culture to its rich fields of fresh produce and cooked culinary delights.

There are many colours one could think of to describe Italy; whether it’s the national flag of white, green and red or the grey and green lined marble of the Florentine churches and the brightly coloured houses along the Cinque Terra as they soak up the afternoon sun. Maybe you think of the multi-tonal evergreen valley’s of the Tuscany region or the sparkling blue sea around the south of Italy – For us the colour of choice for representing Italy is a wonderful lemon yellow.

Why Yellow you ask? Well, for a country with the perfect climate for producing lemons it has lots of them, so many in fact that they have a variety of different lemon recipes and ways to consume them, Limoncello being one of these goodies!
