DRYWOOD OPTISEALER TR is a translucent, semi-matt, water-borne industrial primer for interior and exterior wooden joinery and other wood constructions.

DRYWOOD Optisealer can be applied by Airmix (Aircoat) or airless by hand or in automatic spraying equipment. DRYWOOD Optisealer will typically be applied on hardwood, which for non-durable hardwood has been pretreated with a Wood Preservative. Exterior durability of coating systems including DRYWOOD Optisealer is typically documented according to BRL0814/0817.

DRYWOOD OPTISEALER TR has a good penetration into the wood and good sealing properties on various wood species such as merbau and sapupira. The product has nice filling and leveling properties.

Surface preparation

The wooden surface must be dry, carefully sanded and cleaned from dust and other impurities. The moisture content of the wood should be approx. 13% and should not exceed 15%.

Stir thoroughly before use. In general, application of one or two layers provides a smooth and well sealed surface. Next layer can be applied after 4 h (for better sealing properties at least 16 h).
