64,000 square metres of exhibition space, 814 exhibitors; about half of these from foreign countries - FENSTERBAU FRONTALE was larger and more international than ever. More than 110,000 visitors came to Nuremberg for the twin trade fair event FENSTERBAU FRONTALE and HOLZ-HANDWERK.
“We are fully satisfied with the trade fair”, says Marcel Dissel, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Teknos. “The Teknos stand had excellent visitor numbers. We had many productive talks with existing customers, but also very promising new contacts, which were provided an overview of our extensive range for windows, doors and facades.”
The quality of discussions was encouraging. “Trade visitors have little time and want to gain specific information at the trade fair”, explains Carsten Lauth, Business Director at Teknos. “Many visitors came to us with very specific questions. That's why it was important for us to have competent contact partners and application technicians at the stand, who were also able to help immediately with technical questions.”
In addition to the German-speaking region, many visitors came from Poland, as well as from the Baltic states, Scandinavia, Malaysia and China. “The origin of visitors shows that we now also have a strong position internationally in the window market”, adds Carsten Lauth.
Windows, external doors and facades were naturally the main topic in Nuremberg. However, Teknos experience with interior wood was also in demand. “The discussions showed that techniques such as digital printing or special haptic properties of surfaces are increasingly relevant in outdoor use”, explains Marcel Dissel. “Here we are able to support our customers with expertise and specific solutions.”
The German Teknos company presented itself in Nuremberg for the first time since the takeover of Feyco Treffert with a newly positioned, joint sales team. The combined experience with exterior and interior wood was very well received by the visitors. Equally with customers from Switzerland, where Teknos Feyco - Swiss market leader in carpentry paints - is also now successful in the window sector.
“FENSTERBAU FRONTALE is crucial for us and has also generated a lot of new momentum again this year”, adds Marcel Dissel. “The requirements in the window market are becoming more diverse. That's why it is important for our customers that we offer a comprehensive product portfolio and broad experience.”
