INFRALIT EP/PE 8235-98

INFRALIT EP/PE 8235-98 is a powder coating based on epoxy and polyester resin, which at elevated temperatures will melt, cure and form the final paint film.

Suitable for coating objects where anti-microbic properties are needed. Anti-microbic properties are based on the active ingredients of noble metals.

The mechanical and chemical resistance and the anti-corrosive properties of INFRALIT EP/PE 8235-98 are almost equal to those of epoxies. On outdoor exposure like epoxy/polyester powders in general, has tendency towards matting down (chalking) similar to that of pure epoxies. On the other hand, it's tendency to yellow on overbaking and exposure to ultraviolet light is minor as compared with epoxy powders. INFRALIT EP/PE 8235-98 Epoxy/Polyester Powder fulfils the requirements of ISO 22196 for preventing the growth of certain microbes.
