DRYWOOD Optisealer Flowcoat TR VV is a translucent water-borne industrial sealing primer for interior and exterior wooden joinery and other wood constructions.

Drywood Optisealer VV TR Flowcoat 017001-00 can be applied by flow coat or dipping (manual or automated). Drywood Optisealer VV TR Flowcoat 017001-00 will typically be applied on substrates such as softwood, hardwood, Accoya and modified wood. All softwood and non-durable hardwood for exterior use should be treated with a wood preservative. It is recommended that Accoya intended for outdoor use is treated before priming with Drywood Improstain.

DRYWOOD Optisealer Flowcoat TR VV has good penetration into and colouration of the wood together with excellent filling, flow, and levelling properties. The product has excellent sealing properties againts resinous components in bleeding wood species such as merbau.

Surface preparation

The wooden surface must be dry, carefully sanded and cleaned from dust and other impurities. The moisture content of the wood should be approx. 13% and should not exceed 15%.

Application conditions

Stir thoroughly before use. The product should be used at temperatures above +8°C and maximum 70% relative humidity. The product seals in at least two layers. Drying time between two layers is min. 2 h.

Storage

Storage temperature is +5°C - +30°C. Shelf life in unopened containers: See “Best before date” on the label. Keep containers tightly closed after use. Must not freeze.

Colours Available in almost any translucent colour. Unpigmentented colours such as D740 do not protect wood against UV-radiation.
