Location: Helsinki, Finland or Vamdrup, Denmark

The LCA specialist provides LCA data and insight to Teknos organisation and customers to support the development of products with an improved environmental profile. In this role you will be a part of an international team that builds and further develops Teknos internal LCA competence and supports our journey towards a sustainable future. Additional tasks within the area of environmental sustainability may also be relevant and are depending on Candidate’s level of experience.

In this position, you will be part of the Group Environment in R&D, also cooperating closely with various stakeholders - internal and external partners and customers.

 

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

  • Performing Product Life Cycle analysis and acting as a superuser of LCA tool
  • Preparing LCIA and EPD data
  • Creating LCA models
  • Supporting R&D department and various stakeholders with LCA knowledge
  • Participating in related international projects and groups
  • Monitoring the LCA rules globally

 

Qualifications:

  • University degree in environmental science, chemistry or in a related field
  • Good knowledge of LCA (ISO standards and PEF) and LCA tool/s, practical experience is an asset
  • Good level of communication, problem solving capability, project work experience
  • Data driven mindset combined with strong analytical skills
  • Able to work both independently and in teams
  • Experience in the common IT tools, e.g. O365, ERP systems, Office tools
  • Fluent English
  • Located either in Finland or Denmark and eligible to work in one of these countries
