Main goals:

You will develop and support Teknos Group’s business through HSEQ management on a global scale according to the Group strategy and design as well as coordinate and control the HSEQ processes, ensuring that the products and services are produced according our quality practices and standards.

 

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and coordinating Group HSEQ function
  • Creation of Group HSEQ strategy and objectives, including annual and long-term planning
  • Steering the development and implementation of common HSEQ practices:
    • Health, safety and environment management systems and program
    • Process and system audits at functions and site
    • Tools for HSEQ management and reporting
  • Group risk review process
  • Participating M&A integration projects in HSEQ area
  • Ownership of Corporate Sustainability Responsibility targets in Operations (CSR-targets)
  • Coordinating quality, safety and environmental systems ISO9001, 14001 and possible OHSAS 18001/ISO45001
  • Ensuring link to sourcing in purchasing and raw material quality and requirements

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in leading health, safety and environment related tasks in a manufacturing environment, preferably within chemical, food, medical/pharmaceutical or process industry
  • Prior experience within coordinating HSEQ activities within a multisite scope is a must
  • Clear understanding of different HSEQ practices and standards
  • Well-developed leadership skills within matrix organization
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Understanding of LEAN/Six Sigma
  • Strong work ethic, lots of initiative and proactive attitude
  • Development and innovative mindset
  • Fluent English plus second European language
  • Located close to one of Teknos major European sites in Finland, Sweden, Denmark or Germany
