Location: Helsinki, Finland or close to one of Teknos European sites

Main goals: 
 
In this role you will develop and support Teknos Group’s global business through the Procurement roadmap, acting according to the Group strategy and design as well as the sustainable Procurement guidelines. Supported by cross functional teams, you will develop own direct categories through category management.  
 
 
Daily tasks and responsibilities: 

• Developing selected category (direct) and leading the international matrix category team  
• Developing and running projects related to the Procurement roadmap (e.g. development of spend analysis tool) and providing local project teams with needed support 
• Keeping contact with and supporting local Purchase teams in dedicated responsible countries 
• Managing the cooperation with Group suppliers through Supplier relationship management and developing supplier performance  
• Close cooperation with the team of Group Procurement Managers, providing best practices sharing and fostering further company development 
   

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement/purchasing related functions in industrial environment; experience and/or education in chemical or coatings business would be a great asset 
• You feel comfortable within digitalized and data driven environment, preferably already have related experience or educational background  
• Strong in negotiation with understanding of financial aspects 
• Data driven analysis skills combined with development oriented and innovative attitude 
• Ability to lead projects and implement change in international matrix organization 
• Strong work ethic, ability to be proactive and goal-oriented 
• Willingness to travel (around 20% in the future) 
• Fluent English and one of Teknos European languages
• Located either in Finland or close to of Teknos European sites; you are eligible to live and work in EU
