Location: Drammen, Norway

This position is to support Teknos Norway’s Finance and HR activities to contribute towards Teknos’ strategy of fast and profitable growth. In this position, you will be a member of the Norwegian Management team. In matrix, you will report to the CFO and to the CHRO of the Group organization. The preferred location for this position is in the greater area of Drammen, Norway.

The Finance and HR Manager in Norway performs a variety of tasks including reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. The successful Finance and HR Manager combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. HR responsibilities include local operative HR duties such as the salary process, employment contracts, on/offboardings, and the compliance with Norwegian labor law. This position also implements global processes, is key user of the HR system locally and co-operates with Group HR in various projects to represent Norway. 
 


The most important daily tasks and responsibilities: 

Tasks related to Finance responsibilities: 

  • Overall responsibility for working capital, cash flow, accounts receivables 
  • Delivery of month-, quarter- and year-end Financial reporting as well as external reporting incl. taxes and fees 
  • Performance of financial analysis to support management decisions and continuous improvements; input-giving for departmental goal settings 
  • Preparation of financial statements and production of budget according to Group-schedule 
  • Responsibility for compliance with GAAP principles; direction of internal and external audits to ensure compliance 
  • Collaboration with Group controller to improve financial procedures 
  • Responsibility of overall risk management for Norwegian legal entity 
  • Maintenance of systems and processes 

Tasks related to Human Resources responsibilities:

  • Performance of salaries and tasks related to social security and insurance handlings 
  • Run the annual clock of the people process including target setting, mid-term appraisals, people review meetings and target ratings as well as development activities 
  • Support to line manager and employees in questions related to well-being, people process and development 
  • Running recruitments and ensuring the on- and offboarding processes 
  • Performing the bi-annual employee opinion survey and the action planning / follow-up together with the management team 
  • Local key user for the global HR information system 
  • Assurance that processes run along the employment laws of Norway 
  • Participation in and contribution towards Group-wide HR projects 
     


Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience from similar position with dual responsibilities 
  • Budgeting and reporting experience in an international group setup 
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) 
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements and business controlling 
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software, HR systems and advanced MS Excel skills  
  • Awareness of business trends 
  • Accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Experience from an HR generalist position 
  • Norwegian on a native level and are also professional in English 
  • High emotional intelligence, a natural way of collaborating with employees on different levels and high standards towards oneself.
