Chief financial officer

Location: Helsinki, Finland or one of Teknos European locations

Main goals:

In this role, you will contribute to the strategic leadership and management of Teknos, playing a crucial role in the success and delivery of the Groups objectives. You will spar management team with keen eye on sales and keep track of financial performance, explain deviations and provide own recommendations to Teknos Management Team to better steer the company towards the fast and profitable growth targets in accordance to the directions of the CEO.You will be leading all the finance activities of a company globally, taking responsibility for P&L improvement and enabling of further development. Daily tasks and responsibilities:

  • Providing financial input, advisory and, when needed, challenging opinions on long-term business and financial planning for the Teknos Management Team to foster further company growth on global markets
  • Responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, market analysis, legal affairs and M&As
  • Leading the global finance function and providing financial, accounting and tax service, setting up policies and procedures to govern the practice on both global and local levels
  • Providing accurate and timely financial reporting information to multiple stakeholders, ensuring quality and meaningful analysis into the financial results
  • Coordinating strategic areas: risk management, transfer pricing and investments
  • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting teams and continuous dialogue in matrix with country Managing Directors
  • Driving multiple improvement initiatives and global projects to enhance ways of working and modernise practices within financial area

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in leading financial functions within international and dispersed manufacturing environment; prior international exposure and responsibility are mandatory
  • Track record within a modern business environment – experience in digitalization and optimizing of finance processes will be a strong asset
  • Excellent leadership skills within direct and matrix teams, able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization
  • A cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Strong business acumen, project management and analytical skills
  • Excellent work ethic, lots of initiative and proactive attitude -  challenging the status quo and driving improvements
  • Fluent English and one of Teknos European languages
  • Located in Finland or one of Teknos European locations
